The Technical and Documentation Museum of Prague’s Energy Sector traces the rich history of electricity generation, transmission, and distribution from the early 20th century to the present day. Visitors will find extra-high, high, and low-voltage equipment, measuring instruments, work and safety gear, as well as documents chronicling the history of Prague’s electrification. Among the exhibits are some real gems, such as a coin-operated electricity meter from 1938, a case containing an Ozonit medical device, a handwritten physics textbook, as well as state-of-the-art digital electricity meters and samples of 22 kV and 1 kV fiber-optic cables.
