This year’s Prague Museum Night is kicking off differently here. Earlier. Louder. More lively. Starting at 4:00 p.m., the area in front of the main building of the Prague Museum will transform into an open-air city festival filled with music, lights, a summer atmosphere, workshops, children’s activities, food, drinks, and nighttime exploration of the museum. The building will open at 6 PM. You can look forward to a festival stage, a Coca-Cola chill zone, Birell stands, Bistro Mezi řádky, and craft breweries. Inside the museum, you can also stop by our purple Grifé bistro for a great burger. There will also be outdoor workshops by PRAHO! project, a puppet show for children, and our museum workshop “Send a Greeting from the Museum,” which you can enjoy right inside the building. And when it gets dark? Florenc will be lit up by the iconic Lunalón Moon from the Brno Observatory and Planetarium. The perfect moment for your best selfies of the evening. And what else is in store? Starting at 10:00 p.m., you can enjoy a unique video mapping show based on the collections of the Museum of Prague. The loop will repeat every 15 minutes until midnight! STAGE PROGRAM 6:00 PM — PEXESO A Prague-based indie-dance band that blends an electronic-inspired dance groove with the band’s live energy. A rhythm that will get the whole evening going from the very first notes. 7:20 PM — TIMEA A distinctive Slovak singer and songwriter of the new generation. Emotional indie-pop, a powerful voice, and an atmosphere that will draw you in from the very first song. 9:00 PM — LAKE MALAWI Albert Černý’s band will bring the concert energy of major festivals to Florenc, along with catchy indie-pop and songs known to fans across Europe. The finale of Prague Museum Night, which will be heard far beyond the museum. All exhibitions in the main building of the Museum of Prague—Mrak, Tělák, and City Through Time—will also be open throughout the evening. Exclusive content awaits you in the immersive hall. This year, it won’t just be a stop during Museum Night. This year, Florenc will be the place where you’ll want to spend the entire evening.
